Changes

I have as of now pulled my old The-Techshop.com web site. Going to www.the-techshop will bring you here. What I found is most people wanted information and links to free programs to help them with their computer security. The blog format will be easier for me to help people stay informed.

If you look on the right hand side, their is a links section which lists links to the most popular free ware and low cost commercial programs for computer security. This replaces the links section on my original page.

If anyone has any comments or requires more information, please email me at webmaster@the-techshop.com

More Web Presence Changes

Well I have decided to make one more web presence change. I am switching my security site to a blog format. I was going to rebuild the web site but have realized this is just as informative and easier to keep current and maintain on a daily basis. I will be adding links under the right side to point to the best free security software on the market. I will also be constantly pointing to updated articles and features for the technology field. As of Saturday, I will be re-rooting www.the-techshop.com to blog.the-techshop.com .

Besides these change, nothing else changes. All my email accounts and other web sites will stay the same.

My Web Presence

I have been making a few changes to my web presence over the last week or so.

I have moved my technology blog from blogspot to here.

I have moved my personal blog from livejournal to http://blog.robertbcairns.com/.

I am currently working on a new personal web site as well as revamping my the-techshop site. It will be having a major overhall.

Over the next 2 weeks I will be moving all my photos from photobucket to my own web sites.

Why all these changes do you ask? I have decided in order to have better control over my own content, I should use my own sites to handle the content. I am lucky that I have a great web hosting provider in www.1and1.com . I have been with them almost 4 years and they are truly amazing.

I will be continuing to use the communities on Facebook and Livejournal. As always I can be found on MSN or IRC if you want to chat :)

If you have any comments, please shoot me a line at webmaster@the-techshop.com

Many Thanks

Rob
